Position Summary
The UI Designer serves as the visual architect and user experience champion, bridging the gap between stakeholders' aspirations and technical implementation. They transform complex requirements into intuitive, visually appealing interfaces that seamlessly guide users towards achieving their goals. Through meticulous design thinking, prototyping, and collaboration with Business Analysts, they ensure software products not only meet functional needs but also delight users through exceptional usability, accessibility, and visual appeal, ultimately driving adoption and success.

Duties And Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to as outlined below.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, developers, and product team members, to understand business requirements and user personas.
- Translate requirements into clear and detailed highly functional user interfaces through wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes.
- Champion user-centric design principles, ensuring intuitive usability, accessibility, and visual appeal in all UI elements.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to ensure alignment among project team members, and stakeholders where required.
- Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate design concepts, gather user feedback, and refine the user experience.
- Establish reusable design systems and libraries to streamline development, ensure consistency, and maintain brand integrity.
- Keep abreast of the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and best practices to continually elevate the quality and impact of our products.
- Deep understanding of colour theory, typography, layout, user interaction, and accessibility standards.
- Proficiency in conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Expertise in industry-standard design tools for creating high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and visual assets.
- Degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or related discipline, or relevant experience.
- Experience in designing user interfaces for web and/or mobile applications.
