We’re looking for a Tooling Manager to lead and evolve our tooling operations, ensuring performance, reliability, and innovation that directly supports our manufacturing success.


What you'll do


  • Lead and align the Toolroom, Tool Trials, and Tool Maintenance teams.
  • Oversee the full tooling lifecycle, from design and maintenance to retirement.
  • Plan tooling capacity to meet current and future production needs.
  • Drive tooling innovation to support new product development.
  • Maintain high tooling availability and reliability to meet extrusion requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with NPD and Product Management to align tooling with future business needs.
  • Lead root cause analysis and long-term solutions for tooling issues.
  • Manage tooling budgets and control tooling-related costs.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.


What you'll need


  • 5+ years proven experience in tooling, manufacturing, or operational leadership roles.
  • Hands-on experience in tooling design, modification, and maintenance.
  • Ability to align tooling operations with broader business objectives and the requirements of the extrusion customer.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to inspire and unify teams.
  • Analytical skills to interpret performance data and drive informed decisions.
  • Experience in managing budgets and resource allocation effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in leading process improvement initiatives.
  • Resilience and confidence in decision-making under pressure.
  • Customer-focused mindset, ensuring tooling readiness and quality for the extrusion process.
