Position:
The role of the general labourer is to support and maintain all equipment, plant and support services, ensuring optimum performance and minimizing equipment/plant downtime. The role will report directly to the Facilities Leadership Team.
The Successful applicant will be performing both planned and reactive tasks on a range of production machinery and support services plant across the site following training and direction. Other duties will include providing operational support in other areas and driving through a continuous improvement culture throughout site.
There are a range of tasks -
Maintenance and asset care of CNC Machine Tools
Waste and by-product management and control
Control and management of metal cutting fluids and other lubricants
General building maintenance
Support The Business In Other Departments When Required
Out of hours and other shift patterns will be required when necessary.
shopfloor cleaning and machine cleanouts,
Shunt work ( Flat bed truck driving)
Requirements:
Valid Counter balance fork truck licence
Valid reach truck licence (preferred)
Hands on DIY skills
Hand on IT skills
