As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will grow the UK and Europe Nuclear sector in line with Lucideon business plans through the acquisition of new customers and development of existing clients in the nuclear industries. This will include the development of sales for targeted growth services and any other new services introduced by Lucideon.
You will liaise extensively with a team of world-class experts, both technical and commercial, in the US and the UK to scope high impact, high value solutions to match or exceed client requirements, requiring someone who is collaborative, a team player and has a desire to work in a results-orientated environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Target and successfully penetrate new clients in the Nuclear technology sectors throughout the UK and Europe, consistently demonstrating deep knowledge of how Lucideon capabilities address client needs.
- Develop revenue and margin in existing UK and Europe Nuclear clients.
- Be highly visible in the marketplace, including extensive travel to client meetings. Typically 7-10 days per month will be on-site client meetings, supplemented with regular Zoom/Teams engagement with clients.
- Work closely with Lucideon’s internal technical team members in the UK, Europe and US to share best practice knowledge on the Nuclear marketplace and our value proposition to it.
- Travel to support client requirements in mainland Europe, with occasional trips to our clients or Lucideon’s facilities in the USA.
- Although the role is field-based, the successful candidate is expected to regularly present at our Stone (UK) facility to aid development of technical understanding and engagement with Lucideon’s science teams.
- Minimum of Bachelors degree in Material Science, or a related technical discipline.
- It is essential to have relevant scientific experience in the Nuclear industries, with use of services equivalent to Lucideon’s proposition.
- Full UK Driving license is essential, with experience in European driving and business travel desirable.
- Must be eligible for security clearance.
- Ability to work in a ‘one team’ manner to resolve any challenges both internally and externally.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, at all levels of seniority.
- Excellent organisation skills with the proven ability to prioritise workload.
- Ability to engage easily and credibly with both scientists and engineers at all levels in science/engineering-based businesses.
- Inquisitive, quick-thinking, and skilled at networking, enabling entry and value generation with prospects who have not dealt with Lucideon before.
- Take an interest in technical and commercial market developments with scientific/technical credibility.
- Permanent position
- Full time, Monday to Friday, 37 hours
- Field-based role after successfully completing onboarding which will be fully onsite in Stone for circa 3 months
