Why are we hiring a Senior Platform Engineer?
Due to our continued growth we are hiring for a Senior Platform Engineer. The mission of the Senior Platform Engineer is to lead the design, development, and improvement of scalable, secure, and reliable platforms that support customer SaaS solutions. You will set standards, shape platform architecture, and drive the delivery of systems that enable fast, safe, and sustainable software delivery. You will lead by example in design, code, and operations. You will mentor engineers, lead cross-team initiatives, and take ownership of platform strategy. You will ensure that every platform decision supports long-term goals, aligns with architectural governance, and reflects best practice.

What are you responsible for?
- Establish, document, and promote platform engineering standards and patterns
- Lead the creation and evolution of platform services and shared infrastructure
- Design and deliver scalable platform architectures aligned with modern cloud-native principles
- Guide system design across teams to ensure security, scalability, and maintainability
- Drive technology and tooling decisions to support platform goals
- Coordinate with the Architectural Review Board on major platform design changes
- Mentor and support other platform engineers through technical leadership and coaching
- Improve CI/CD processes and infrastructure automation at scale
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and long-term corrective strategies
- Embed platform best practices across the SDLC and support cross-functional collaboration
- Champion platform consistency and eliminate duplication across environments
- Adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently
- Track record of designing and delivering scalable and secure systems
- Significant experience in platform engineering or infrastructure-focused development
- Ability to define and drive platform engineering standards and best practices
- Strong technical understanding of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
- Skilled in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong automation and scripting ability (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Proven ability to lead CI/CD and deployment process improvements
