Date: 3 weeks ago
City: Hemel Hempstead
Contract type: Full time
Are you ready to lead a transformation journey in People Analytics?

Without a central HR system and with data spread across siloed systems, our People team has faced challenges in providing robust reporting, insightful analysis, and actionable insights - here is where we need you!

We’re bringing this capability in-house, and you will lead the development of a comprehensive data analytics solution within the People team.

Our working arrangements are hybrid and you can be based from anywhere in the UK. Some travel will be necessary.

In this role you will:

  • Build and maintain a secure, sustainable database solution in partnership with IT, aligning with our existing ecosystem.
  • Design and implement transparent metrics and data solutions, starting with an Organisational Network Analysis (ONA) to map influencers within the company.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for data within the People team, managing requests and delivering high-quality, actionable insights.
  • Provide reporting and analytics expertise using Power BI and Excel, helping us translate data into meaningful business strategies.
  • Roll up your sleeves and dive into the current reporting work while building a future-proof analytics framework.

To be successful you will have:

  • Experience working within an HR team, with a deep understanding of the employee lifecycle.
  • Qualification or equivalent experience in Power BI, with the ability to create compelling data visualizations.
  • Qualification or equivalent experience in Excel, with advanced skills to handle large datasets.
  • Exceptional ability to present complex data clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Talent for identifying patterns and trends in large datasets to inform business strategies.
  • Determination and tenacity to overcome challenges and deliver impactful solutions.

You’ll be at the forefront of creating a solution that empowers data-driven decision-making, drives performance, and enhances workplace culture.

We offer hybrid working for this position, meaning you’ll mainly work from home. However, your contractual base will be the closest office to you - Hemel Hempstead or Leeds and you may need to visit the office occasionally for team meetings.

In return for your commitment, we will offer you some fantastic benefits:

  • Generous annual leave allowance - 27 days per year, plus bank holidays
  • A commitment to talent management & development
  • Values Star of the Month! - Our star of the month award enables you to recognise colleagues or teams that have gone the extra mile and they could win £100 worth of shopping vouchers
  • Pension - We’ll contribute up to 10% towards your pension if you join our stakeholder pension scheme
  • Life Assurance
  • Group Income Protection
  • Wellbeing Programme
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Employee Engagement & discounts platform
