About The Role

A great role, reporting to the CEO and leading the operations group; the hub of the company including Production, Warehousing, Supply Chain management, as well as operational support functions, such as Quality Control and Continuous Improvement.

As the General Manager Operations, you will lead the strategic direction of Group Operations (NZ, Australia, Chile and Export) to deliver on planned Production, Supply Chain effectiveness, Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance. It is an excellent opportunity to really make a difference to the company and their people. You will be responsible for Operational Excellence, quality assurance, continuous improvement, supply chain management, facilities and leadership of the team.

A full PD is available.

About You

You will be a seasoned operations professional with sound understanding of manufacturing, warehousing and logistics and experience managing third party manufacturing sites.

You will have the proven ability to make insightful and strategic decisions that influence the direction and performance of a business whilst being a naturally strong team player who is able to be persuasive and gain buy-in from senior management colleagues, key external stakeholders, and other group members. You will be able to show evidence of your ability to innovate and lead change and deliver tangible results.

Exceptional oral communication and presentation skills are a given and you will undoubtably be highly driven and committed to deliver high quality performance, while maintaining integrity and high business values. Your skills and experience in coaching managers to not only get high performance out of their respective teams but also as improve their functional areas and applying LEAN principles.
