Join our Gas Turbine Engineering team in Lincoln, where you'll contribute to the design and development of combustion components. Working in a hybrid model (typically three days in-person), you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation while maintaining a strong work-life balance.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

How You’ll Make An Impact
- Design and develop gas turbine combustion components and assemblies, applying mechanical theory and optimization techniques.
- Conduct root cause analysis, weighted decision analysis, and design of experiments.
- Specify component and engine test requirements to ensure performance and reliability.
- Present findings through technical reports and verbal presentations.
- Develop and maintain method documents, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
- Monitor progress against technical and schedule objectives, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in mechanical design, preferably in rotating machinery.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (NX preferred) and experience with Teamcenter/PLM systems.
- Strong understanding of machinery design and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret statistical data, such as component inspection reports.
- Experience working with component suppliers is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration in a multidisciplinary, multicultural environment.
