A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our Gas Turbine Engineering team in Lincoln, where you'll contribute to the design and development of combustion components. Working in a hybrid model (typically three days in-person), you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation while maintaining a strong work-life balance.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Design and develop gas turbine combustion components and assemblies, applying mechanical theory and optimization techniques.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, weighted decision analysis, and design of experiments.
  • Specify component and engine test requirements to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Present findings through technical reports and verbal presentations.
  • Develop and maintain method documents, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
  • Monitor progress against technical and schedule objectives, ensuring project milestones are met.


What You Bring

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in mechanical design, preferably in rotating machinery.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (NX preferred) and experience with Teamcenter/PLM systems.
  • Strong understanding of machinery design and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to interpret statistical data, such as component inspection reports.
  • Experience working with component suppliers is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration in a multidisciplinary, multicultural environment.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
