How You’ll Make An Impact As a Manager
- Supplier Qualification and Auditing: Lead a multi-functional team in assessing and auditing supplier capabilities to ensure compliance with Siemens Energy standards.
- Product and Process Qualifications: Direct teams in executing Product and Process Qualifications (PPQ), providing guidance to suppliers in adhering to Siemens Energy’s Quality Management Process and tools.
- Supplier Quality Supervision: Oversee supplier quality performance, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and initiating quality improvement programs and risk mitigation strategies.
- Early Supplier Involvement and Collaboration: Facilitate early engagement with suppliers during the product development process, collaborating closely with the global supplier quality team, international partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitoring and Communication: Continuously monitor and report on supplier quality performance, coordinate component acceptability assessments, and effectively communicate risks to ensure timely mitigation and improvement efforts.
- Technical and Engineering Expertise: A robust background in Engineering, R&D, or Production Technology is essential, with additional experience in machining, castings, coatings, forgings, or welding being advantageous.
- Holistic Supply Chain Management: A comprehensive understanding of supply chain dynamics, with the ability to prioritize critical issues and ensure seamless operations.
- Quality and Risk Management Proficiency: Expertise in quality methodologies (5 Whys, FMEA, 8D, RCA) and risk management, focusing on product functionality, delivery, cost, and resource constraints.
- Interpersonal and Cultural Competence: Strong interpersonal skills and experience in working with diverse international teams, promoting cultural understanding and collaboration.
- Commitment and Willingness to Travel: A demonstrated commitment to teamwork and structured work habits, along with a readiness to travel as required for the role.
