We’re looking for a Facilities Assistant to join our Engineering & Facilities team, supporting our Facilities Manager with maintenance of the full facility, both internally and externally.

Role & Responsibilities

• General pre-planned and reactive maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, basic joinery, minor electrical works, plumbing works, gardening and general repairs
• Carry out all necessary pre planned tasks to ensure continuous compliance in several disciplines such as compressed air, water quality, and fire safety
• Manage contractors on site, including permit to work
• Assist with installations of new equipment as and when required
• Respond to any reactive tasks and repair in a timely manner
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Comfortable and competent with the use of power tools such as drills and grinders
• Strong problem solving skills with attention to detail
• Basic plumbing and electrical skills
  
  

Please note, we are flexible on the shift pattern for this role. This can either be full-time (37 hours) or part-time (can be discussed).
