Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administration Assistant based at Ayrshire Maternity Unity, University Hospital Crosshouse. This is a fixed-term post until 31st March 2026, with the hope of extending the contract.
What You Will Do
Within the Integrated feeding service for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to undertake the role of Administrative Assistant within the Integrated Feeding Service Team.
Reporting to the Acting Lead Midwife, Maternal and Infant Nutrition, you will play a key role within the team providing a proactive secretarial and administrative service. This will include working across acute and primary health care services making independent decisions as to the appropriate action to be taken.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
- You will ideally possess a qualification preferably at HNC level but equivalent demonstrable experience will be considered.
- Experience of using clinical e-Health systems is advantageous.
- Breastfeeding training and knowledge is essential.
- You should be able to work on your own initiative have excellent organisation and communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
- Excellent computer and system management skills are essential.
