• Pay Rate: £30, 000 to £30, 900 Per annum
  Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
  Shift patterns: 07:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday (Must be willing to work weekends when required - Overtime)
  Location: HMP Holme House, TS18 2QU

  PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a prison. You will be required to undergo an enhanced security vetting process if you are to be successful for this position.

At DHL, we manage the picking, packing and distribution of these orders.

  We're now looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who will play an integral role in the prisoners' lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.

  A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

  • Assisting the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day running of the warehouse operation (based on-site at the prison)
  • Line management of the Warehouse Team Leaders and overall supervision of the prisoners whilst they are at work
  • Ensuring compliance to Health & Safety as well as prison rules and regulations
  • Staff training and inductions
  • Meeting and exceeding operational targets
  
  

  THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

  
  
  • Can provide three years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance)
  • Are comfortable working in a prison environment, alongside inmates
  • Have previous experience leading, managing or supervising a team
  • Are IT literate to enable accurate and timely reporting
  • Have a can-do attitude, right first time and passionate approach
  • Full UK Driving License and own transport
