Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Mon to Fri, Sun to Thurs ( could be rotational), 7:00 pm to 3:30 am

We're now looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager-Nights to plan, coordinate, supervise and report upon the activities of the warehouse team while providing effective communication, leadership, motivation & training to the team.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Responsible for the safe, legal and efficient execution of warehouse operations during a duty shift to customer SLA's/KPI's
• Control your operational processes (inbound, picking, outbound, etc), fulfilling service levels agreed and deadlines established
• Daily operations, issue management and resolution for the warehouse and with transport
• Management of short & long term absence and disciplinaries in line with policy, ensuring all colleagues comply with the DHL Code of Conduct
• Promote employee engagement, including EOS, GPTW surveys and nominations for colleagues to recognise excellence.
  
  
  

this Role Would Suit People Who

• 3 years of experience working as a supervisor/manager within the Logistics Industry
• H&S compliance, ensuring and promoting the best H&S Standards, e.g. using safety conversations and Gemba problem-solving processes
• Experience in team management
• Able to work well under pressure
• Good communication skills
