Great opportunity for an experienced and enthusiatic events manager and fundraiser to make a a real impact in stopping the cycle of gender-based abuse.
What difference will you make?
Your role will directly contribute to changing lives and stopping the cycle of gender based violence (GBV). events . Through well-executed events, you will help us raise vital resources for our programs, raise awareness about (GBV), and encourage community engagement. Your work will have a lasting impact on our ability to produce positive outcomes for victims affected by gender-based violence.
What are we looking for?
Skills required Strong organisation and coordination skills – ability to manage multiple tasks effectively Attention to detail – ensures all elements of event planning are covered Effective and flexible communication skills Teamwork and collaboration – works well with diverse teams Problem-solving mindset – can adapt to challenges Time management – able to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks What we need Plan and manage fundraising events, including black tie events and community drives. Organise non-fundraising events such as educational workshops, networking gatherings, and awareness campaigns. Coordinate logistics, venues, suppliers, and schedules to ensure seamless execution. Collaborate with our leadership team and volunteers to align event objectives with our mission. Deliverables A well-structured event calendar with fundraising and non-fundraising activities. Successful execution of events, ensuring positive experiences for attendees. Event reports outlining outcomes, impact, and areas for improvement. Collaboration You will work closely with our leadership team, volunteers, and external partners to ensure successful event execution and promotion. Flexibility This role is adaptable based on your expertise and availability. We welcome volunteers who can contribute on an ongoing basis

We are seeking an individual with a dynamic personality who can bring fresh ideas and innovation to our organisation. Events play a key role in raising funds, increasing awareness, and engaging with the community. We need a dedicated and organized individual to plan, manage and execute successful events on our behalf. Ideally you will have several years experience and will be able to immediately step in and take charge of this area. We need someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record of managing fundraising campaigns and events successfully.
