As a Volunteer Admin Officer, you will play a vital role in keeping our unit running smoothly. Your support with records, communication, and organisation will ensure cadets and volunteers can focus on training and activities, directly contributing to a positive and efficient environment.

Skills Proficient in computerised administration systems, with the ability to learn systems related to cadet administration. Excellent clerical skills with a keen eye for detail in data entry tasks, particularly when managing cadet records. Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively, including event coordination and documentation. Demonstrated administrative skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team supporting a youth organisation. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with parents/guardians, volunteers, and external partners. This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of our unit by providing comprehensive administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, youth-focused environment. Duties Provide clerical support including filing, data entry, and document management to support the activities and operations of the cadet unit. Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls and emails, ensuring professional phone etiquette when interacting with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders. Maintain an organised filing system for both physical and digital documents, including records related to cadet training, activities, and events.
