We are now recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a successful small animal veterinary practice in the city of Southampton in Hampshire

  • full time opportunity including a Saturday morning rota and no Sundays, no OOH
  • practice is established with new up to date technologies and equipment including orthopaedic equipment on site
  • caseload is interesting and varied including some exotics
  • ideally you will have solid GP experience, enjoy working as part of a team and be confident in occasional sole charge
  • An interest in ultrasonography or medicine would be desired but is not essential
  • join a friendly, welcoming and supportive team of 2 Vets, 3 RVNs, 1 student nurse and 3 receptionists
  • CPD allowance and funding and support towards certificates available
  • City of Southampton with easy access to the picturesque New Forest National Park and stunning coast.

Person Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • solid GP experience
  • confident in occasional sole charge
  • interest in ultrasonography or medicine desirable
