We are looking for a Value Based Partnering (VBP) Lead who is a dynamic transformative leader to join us in our PIM Payer and ISEG Operations team, based in our office in Slough, UK.

About the role:

The Payer and ISEG Operations team is a key element of operationalizing the evolution of our operating model. This team will be the interface between the Asset Teams and Countries to ensure that the Countries are fully empowered to achieve UCB’s growth ambition.

Who you’ll work with:

The Value Based Partnering Lead will work with the Asset, Country and Regional teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Set VBP ambition, with internal / external KPIs defined and tracked
  • Develop VBP access strategic / application framework
  • Contribute to VBP Corporate narrative
  • Develop PI VBP strategic agenda, supporting PI drivers and projects to enable PI VBP
  • Develop VBP ideation / application tools, frameworks and processes aligned to business priorities (eg contracting framework, financial modelling, toolboxes, data platforms, governance)
  • Empower implementors via training, experience sharing and project pilots
  • Integrate with strategic account excellence and account-based marketing
  • Support strategic account identification, cross functional goal alignment and planning, strategic account planning excellence for long-term partnership, and competitor insight excellence

  • Experience in value based partnering and contracting
  • Experience in account management
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Stakeholder Management and Influence: Ability to build and nurture trusted relationships with key stakeholders across Countries and Global,facilitating collaborations and alignment on strategic objectives.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capacity to understand the implications of value based partnering, anticipate how this is integrated within market trends and align to UCB strategies, overarching business goals and approach
  • Execution excellence: Ability to build and implement pragmatic & effective frameworks, templates & processes that maximize impact and optimize for seamless performance
  • Change Management: Ability to anticipate implications of new ways of working, and maintain focus on strategic priorities and highest impact
  • Innovative design thinking: innovative mindset taking into account novel ways of implementing VBP
