Your impact

In this newly created role you will work as part of a small but growing team of industry subject matter experts covering the operations, maintenance, risk and governance of Tunnels, delivering advice and support to owners and /or operators of Tunnel Infrastructure.

Remit of the role will include areas such as;

• Maintaining an excellent understanding of the portfolio of tunnels being supported.
• Ensure all relevant tunnel regulations and standards are updated, rolled out and applied.
• Maintain the suite of operational documentation for tunnels covering, emergency fire safety strategies.
• Develop Minimum Operating Requirements
• Develop and update Operational and Maintenance Strategies, Manuals and Procedures
• Facilitate and document Fire risk Assessments
• Collaborating with Client, Design, Engineering and Maintenance stakeholder to develop long term assett management strategies
• Schedule, chair and manage key coordination meetings including Tunnel Design, Asset Management, Safety Consultation and Emergency Planning, with internal and external stakeholders.
• ­ Review all technical queries from all stakeholders including Clients, Design Teams and Operations and Emergency Response
• ­ Develop and maintain Operational Risk Registers

Here's what you'll need

would be highly desirable for the individual to have / be

• Experience of working on Tunnel infrastructure and Operations and Maintenance schemes.
• Are familiar with the operation and maintenance of highway infrastructure or similar sector would be an advantage.
• Have a sound knowledge of current national, regional and local guidance/standards with regards to the fields of tunnel operations, tunnel maintenance or engineering.
