Our service is rooted in a recovery-focused, trauma-informed approach, empowering individuals to build the skills, confidence and resilience needed to move towards more independent living.

At Felix House, we work alongside the people we support to help them manage their mental health and wellbeing, develop essential life skills, and achieve their personal goals. Our aim is to create a safe, supportive and empowering environment where individuals can progress at their own pace and prepare for greater independence.

  • Provide emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs
  • Support individuals to develop daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, personal care and maintaining a home
  • Encourage engagement in meaningful activities both within the service and in the community
  • Monitor and support mental and physical wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to support planning
  • Assist with medication administration (full training provided)
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, families and external agencies
You will also support individuals to:
  • Access in-house development opportunities, including IT skills, life skills, relaxation techniques, healthy living and wellbeing activities
  • Build and maintain relationships with family and friends
  • Engage in community-based opportunities such as volunteering, employment skills, creative activities, and social groups

  • 30 days’ annual leave, including recognised public holidays
  • Learning and development to support your career growth
  • Nationally recognised qualifications, from entry level care to management
  • Flexible working, with rotas provided in advance
  • Occupational Sick Pay after two years, increasing with service
  • Health Cash Plan after probation, offering at least £695 cashback for health treatments (dental, optical, therapies, maternity/paternity, prescriptions)
