Join Our Team as a Mental Health Support Worker
Location: Lindsay House, Northampton
Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for an experienced and caring Mental Health Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Lindsay House – a CQC Registered home supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental health challenges.
Lindsay House is a 17 bed supported living service registered under CQC.
Lindsay House provides support to individuals with a primary mental health diagnosis. We provide more than just accommodation – we offer support with daily living skills, personal care, finances, and rehabilitation, while encouraging engagement with the local community.

What you will do?

  • Providing one to one key worker support and building positive, professional relationships
  • Carrying out assessments and developing personalised support and safety plans
  • Encouraging people to manage their mental and physical wellbeing
  • Supporting individuals with daily living skills and accessing community services
  • Liaising with mental health agencies, professionals and community groups
  • Contributing to safeguarding and promoting a safe, supportive environment
  • Keeping accurate records, monitoring progress and sharing information with the team
  • Helping improve the service by offering feedback and supporting colleagues
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience supporting people with mental illness or in a social care setting (paid or voluntary)
  • Great listening skills, empathy, patience, and kindness
  • Ability to work with digital systems (Microsoft applications, email, internet)
  • A commitment to our values and willingness to learn
