As a Subcontract Administrator for Advanced Manufacturing, you will be responsible for contracting standard to complex professional and/or construction services. The Subcontract Administrator may act as lead on small Projects (Projects with a Total Installed Cost of $50M, or less) while using best practices and knowledge of requirements to solve basic problems and handle day-to-day Subcontracting tasks with minimal guidance and direction.
Leverage your passion and experience as you effectively and professionally conduct and coordinate procurement transactions associated with subcontracting of services as assigned. The Subcontract Administrator demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of procurement concepts, principles and practices, and the techniques of ensuring task completion. They completely understand the role of procurement and its integration with other project functions, accomplishes value-added expectations, and performs assignments in accordance with established policies and procedures.
The Subcontract Administrator reports directly to the Director of Supply Management, Advanced Manufacturing (AM). While supporting Jacobs’ Projects, the Subcontract Administrator will report indirectly to the assigned Project Procurement Manager (PPM), Project Manager or Construction Manager.

Here’s What You’ll Do
The base salary range for this position is $75,300.00 to $103,500.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Here’s What You’ll Do
- Preparation of Request for Proposal packages
- Issuance and administration of bid packages throughout the bid cycle.
- Coordinate and host Prebid meetings with bidders and Project Team members
- Receipt and review of proposals
- Tabulation of proposals
- Coordinate clarification meetings with bidders and Project team
- Prepare commercial bid evaluations
- Negotiate terms and conditions with bidders and coordinate final negotiations with legal department
- Route requisition for award documents to project team for approvals
- Draft award Subcontract documents and issue to successful bidder
- Coordinate pre-award meetings
- Manage Subcontractor invoices
- Manage change orders
- Mitigate Subcontractor risk and assist with any claims or disputes.
- Subcontract close out activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business, construction, supply chain, or operations management, or equivalent project experience
- 4+ years of experience in subcontracting and contract management.
- 2-5 years of experience in Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing or Data Center Projects is preferred.
- Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Team Work.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- A drive to solve complex and challenging problems.
- Experience working on medium to large EPCM projects
