Our stock controller opportunity


Based at our Tyre Warehouse & Distribution facility and as part of the Stock Control team, the Stock Controller role will be carried out within a busy customer driven warehouse environment. It handles high volumes of product daily for storage then onwards distribution to our customers in the region.

Your role is to ensure, as part of a team, that the right products are received and stored accurately, investigating any discrepancies and working closely with internal or external customers to resolve any queries.


What you will be doing


This role will be working on a 3-week rota basis.

Week 1 Monday-Friday 06:00-14:30

Week 2 Monday - Friday 08:00-16:30

Week 3 Monday-Friday 09:30-18:00

  • Providing generalist support to include: Booking goods into stock, stock or returns investigations, customer orders, progress chasing, report generation
  • Regularly carrying out PI checks (cycle counting)
  • Working closely with internal and sometimes external customers to resolve queries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Taking part in daily, weekly and quarterly stock checks to ensure good stock health and integrity

About you
  • You will be well organised and with great attention to detail, excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills
  • Ideally experienced with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Stock/Inventory management systems, or SAP or ERP or similar
  • Somebody who thrives within fast paced customer driven warehouse & distribution environments, flexible in their approach
  • A background of customer driven warehousing & distribution environments is advantageous
