- Job Overview
- To provide compassionate and effective leadership to the Dietitians within the service/locality/sector.
- To contribute to the overall leadership of the service/locality/sector.
- To provide high quality and evidence based dietetic assessment and interventions, both group and individual, to people who access services and their carers/supporters/family members
- To communicate effectively with a range of clinicians in the multidisciplinary team, managers, directors, associate directors, catering, people who access services, carers/supporter/family members, stakeholders and external agencies.
- To provide supervision and mentoring to dietitians within the trust as required.
- To ensure the delivery of dietetic student placements.
- To lead on service development and audits.
- To actively contribute to the continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities within the specialist team and wider dietetic service
- To provide an audit of dietetic services within the directorate.
- To link in with local, regional, and national dietetic networks
