Embedded Software Engineer

Type: Remote | Salary: Up to 45,000

A well-established R&D organisation with over 25 years of success in the engineering sector is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer. This role involves taking ownership of software development for advanced controller technologies within a multidisciplinary team.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and developing embedded software for high-performance controller systems

• Managing the full product lifecycle from initial design to maintenance

• Collaborating with the R&D team to deliver robust software solutions

• Enhancing existing products and developing next-generation technology

• Working with large and complex codebases to ensure high-quality output

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an embedded software role

• Strong proficiency in Embedded C programming

• Proven experience working with RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS or ThreadX

• Familiarity with communication protocols including SPI, UART, I2C, and Ethernet

• Must have the right to work in the UK and be eligible for security vetting if required
