We’re now looking for an experienced Facility Manager to take ownership of site infrastructure, utilities and contractor management, ensuring operational continuity and a safe working environment for our colleagues.


What You’ll Do


As Facility Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of all facility‑related operations across the warehouse, offices and yard. You’ll manage preventative maintenance programmes, site services and contractor performance, while ensuring compliance with all statutory and health & safety requirements.


Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage day‑to‑day facility operations across warehouse, office, yard and welfare areas
  • Develop and maintain a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme
  • Ensure effective operation of building systems including HVAC, lighting, dock doors, fire systems and plumbing
  • Maintain full compliance with fire safety, electrical inspections, PAT testing and racking inspections
  • Manage site security operations, including CCTV, access control, gate management and security contractors
  • Oversee cleaning services across all internal and external site areas
  • Manage yard operations, truck movements, dock availability, traffic flow and safety controls
  • Manage and coordinate all facility‑related contractors and service providers
  • Monitor and control utilities usage including electricity, gas, water and waste disposal
  • Coordinate maintenance of compactors, balers, pallet wrappers, charging stations and generators
  • Ensure emergency preparedness, including backup power systems and fire safety readiness


What We’re Looking For


  • Proven experience managing facilities in a warehouse, logistics or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance planning
  • Experience managing contractors and site service providers
  • Background overseeing security, cleaning or site services
  • Solid understanding of health & safety and statutory compliance requirements
  • Strong organisational, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident working in a fast‑paced operational environment
