About The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a .NET Software Engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems with clean, maintainable code. The role involves working on both greenfield projects and the refactoring of legacy systems, contributing to the ongoing evolution of cutting-edge enterprise software.
You will work hybrid from the company’s HQ in Cirencester — 2 days per week during probation, moving to 1 day per month after.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust software solutions using .NET C# and SQL
- Contribute to the design and development of both new and existing systems
- Refactor legacy code to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability
- Write clean, testable code using TDD and unit testing principles
- Work with structured data formats including JSON and XML
- Collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects
- Strong experience in .NET (C#) development with SQL
- Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks
- Working knowledge of JSON and XML for data exchange
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Competitive salary up to £45,000 (negotiable based on experience)
