Site Services Operative

Shift Pattern: 4on/4off Days and Nights

Hours of work:5:50am-5:30pm and 5:30pm-5:30am

Pay rate: £15.69 per hour

Responsibilities

Ensures correct daily operation of the Anwick site Effluent Plant.

The primary function of the post holder is to ensure the correct operation of the Anwick site Effluent plant. The plant needs to be run at all times to comply with our legally consented discharge limits as required by our effluent processor Anglian Water Services.

You will be expected to be able to perform minor mechanical running repairs and to maintain the cleanliness of the plant and equipment at all times.

Other Duties

• To gain a full understanding of poultry industry in MP.
• Ensure daily duties and PPM schedules are maintained and adhered to in accordance with current requirements
• Proactive in ensuring Health & Safety legislation is met
• Ensure correctly completed paperwork and records are processed in a timely manner for all work undertaken.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions
• Ensure effective and detailed handovers are provided at all times
• Liaising with contractors and suppliers
• Attend internal and external training courses to ensure technical and professional skills are maintained
• To undertake other duties as your Manager may require
• To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.
• Part of your duties will involve driving of a forklift truck and you will be required to pass a test and maintain a good standard of driving one throughout your employment with Pilgrimseurope.
