Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing Infrastructure team and play a key role in the successful delivery of complex projects and programmes for a range of high-profile clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated project management professional who enjoys taking ownership of project delivery, building strong client relationships, and supporting the development of junior team members. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage the successful delivery of infrastructure projects and programmes through the full project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead project planning, governance, reporting, risk management, change control, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Support procurement processes, tender evaluations, consultant appointments, and contract administration.
  • Facilitate risk and value management activities, including workshops and project reviews.
  • Prepare and present project reports, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed of progress, risks, and key decisions.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to agreed programme, budget, quality, and performance objectives.
  • Support the implementation of project management best practice, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Contribute to bid submissions, tender responses, and business development activities where appropriate.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, helping to develop capability and promote a positive team culture.
  • Ensure all work is delivered in accordance with company procedures, client governance requirements, and relevant Health & Safety standards.

Experience & Qualifications

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Experience delivering infrastructure projects within a consultancy, client-side, or contractor environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management processes including risk management, planning, reporting, stakeholder management, and change control.
  • Experience administering and managing construction contracts, particularly NEC and/or JCT forms.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability.
  • Degree qualification in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • MAPM, MRICS, PRINCE2, or other relevant professional qualifications (desirable).
