The Offshore Operations Director is a member of the Dogger Bank Project Leadership Team. This role partners with the customer, internal project stakeholders, and cross-functional stakeholders to build, implement, and execute operational deliverables.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Ensure a strong safety and quality culture
- Lead the coordination of all activities related to offshore operations
- Establish and own daily management operating rhythm to ensure priorities are clear and visibility into results
- Ensures that we have a robust project plan/schedule and alignment across all relevant stakeholders
- Own the alignment with the customer on priorities and operational details
- Set and execute internal operational priorities including details such as which components are used for specific turbine sites
- Develop and implement standard work enabling SQDC KPI attainment
- Perform other responsibilities as needed
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
- Wealth of experience in projects, services, or related operational experience
- Prior relevant operational leadership experience
- Prior offshore wind operational experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Able to effectively own and execute detailed business plans, identify risks, and proactively mitigate risk
- Strong communicator – communicates proactively, provides clear direction
- Demonstrated ability to engage, motivate, and build a positive culture across a large organization
- Able to navigate complexity, assess tradeoffs properly, and take decisions
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-faced, high impact environment
- Demonstrated ability to influence others and align cross-functional teams to success
