ROLE : Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
SALARY : GBP 40,000: GBP 60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
TYPE : Permanent
LOCATION : Warrington
My client is a specialist manufacturer of products and Engineering solutions. They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in the Warrington area on a permanent basis.
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
: HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ / Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Design / Engineering Design or similar
: 5 or more years' industry experience ideally working in a similar industrial design / development role within a manufacturing environment
: Proficient with using SolidWorks or similar CAD software for design
: Confident knowledge of a variety of mechanical processes
: Experience working with rubber, polymer, hydraulics, and machinery
: Experienced designing products from concept to production
: Innovative and passionate about design
: Be technically minded with a head for problem solving
: Able to work well individually as well as part of a team
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Role Will Involve
: Design and development of various custom products
: Ensuring 3D design solutions and engineering drawings are completed for all New Product Development projects
: Getting hands on with machinery and other areas of the business
: Using CAD for design on a day:to:day basis
: Developing ideas from concept to production
: Creating models/prototypes
: Collaborating with different departments to ensure the smooth delivery of projects
: Maintaining technical drawings and documentation
: Providing technical guidance and support
: Supporting product Testing, Verification and Validation
: Supporting Junior team members and providing guidance
