We are now hiring a dedicated UK-based marketing resource to strengthen our go-to-market strategy, optimize sales alignment, and accelerate growth.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Consultant to take the lead on targeted marketing communications, content creation, and event planning for the UK and Africa (UKA) region. This role is critical to delivering high-quality leads, executing strategic campaigns, and building brand visibility within the UK energy market.
Based in Aberdeen (preferred) or London, you’ll be working within the UKA Sales team, in close collaboration with our global Marketing & Communications group spread across Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
What You’ll Do:
Drive Growth Through Strategy
- Define and execute the UKA marketing communications strategy, aligned with global and local sales goals
- Build and manage the annual UKA marketing communications planner
- Lead account-based marketing efforts to support new and repeat business
Generate Leads & Build Awareness
- Create and coordinate content: articles, PR, success stories, and partner pieces
- Launch targeted campaigns to generate high-quality leads
- Work cross-functionally to align content with technical and sales objectives
Boost Market Presence
- Manage local LinkedIn, SEO, and digital visibility in partnership with global MarCom
- Execute PR and paid media strategies to increase brand recognition
- Leverage industry partnerships and memberships for maximum exposure
Plan and Execute Impactful Events
- Identify and lead Cegal’s participation in UK events—from exhibitions to hosted sessions
- Handle logistics: travel, booth design, bookings, merchandise, and promotion
- Collect and analyse feedback to inform future event and campaign planning
Who are you?
We believe you are a B2B marketing professional with at least a few years of industry experience, ideally within the energy sector. Ideally you should have:
- 3+ years in B2B marketing, ideally within the energy sector
- Proven experience running events and campaigns
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, and LinkedIn
- Excellent communication skills including experience in content creation
- Strong sense of accountability for your deliverables
- Experience within the IT or Geoscience sector is beneficial, but not a requirement
You should be:
- Self-motivated, responsive and highly organized
- Able to manage cross-functional collaboration
- Proactive in looking for solutions and improvements
- Flexible with regards to travel, where required for events and partner meetings
