Senior Care Assistant Nights- required for our luxury care home ‘Bateman House Care Home in Uttoxeter ST14 5DU - Part of the Country Court Family.

Hours: Nights 33 Hours per week, working weekends on rota

The care home offers person-centred residential and specialist dementia care across two floors and outstanding facilities

About The Senior Care Assistant Role

Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Aiding residents emotional well-being and social needs
• Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.
• Supporting residents at meals time
• Mentor & assist new employees.
• Implement, monitor and review care plans to meet residents specific needs.
• Plan, allocate & supervise the work of the team of care assistants

About You

Our fantastic staff are at the heart of our homes & provide vital day-to-day support to our residents. Having those care values is vital to share a happy home, so we would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people’s lives.

• Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
• Be no stranger to working night shifts
• Have a friendly & caring attitude.
• Able to engage well with the residents and their families
• Have an understanding of people with Dementia
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this.
• Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
