Food & Beverage Assistant -required for our luxury care home ‘Bateman House Care Home in Uttoxeter ST14 5DU - Part of the Country Court Family.

Hours: 40 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Hours 08:00-18:30)
We are looking for a Food & Beverage Assistant / Front of House Host at Bateman House, where you will be providing a 5* Restaurant and customer service experience within our home to our residents
Bateman House Care Home is situated in the bustling market town of Uttoxeter, East Staffordshire and will has seventy-six ensuite bedrooms. Bateman House exudes both elegance and comfort, creating a warm, home-like atmosphere. The care home offers person-centred residential and specialist dementia care across two floors and outstanding facilities.

About The Food & Beverage Role
Within your role as a Food & Beverage Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Serving residents their meals, snacks & beverages
- Replenish all snack stations
- Clean up after all meals
- Re-lay tables & cloths
- Cleaning the dining/kitchen areas
We want someone proactive, passionate and ambitious to support us to create the best person-centred environment for our residents and to connect us to our local community. You’ll be genuinely valued and empowered as an integral part of our team. You will have the following experience:
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Experience as a Food & Beverage Assistant or similar role
- Good knowledge & experience in the food/restaurant Industry
- Knowledge of COSHH & health & safety standards
- Have a friendly & caring attitude
- Able to engage well with the residents and their families
- Understanding of people with Dementia
- Able to work independently & as a team
