We are now looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Senior Brand Manager to join our high‑performing UK Nutrition team in Maidenhead.

About the Role

As a Senior Brand Manager, you will shape and lead the strategic direction of key brands within the Nutrition portfolio. You will be responsible for developing and executing high‑impact marketing strategies that drive profitability, market share and sustainable growth.

This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with the Contracts team, Hospital‑to‑Home, Sales, Medical, and cross‑functional partners to ensure seamless execution and best‑in‑class brand leadership.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Leadership & Brand Growth

  • Develop compelling marketing strategies and omni‑channel tactical plans to grow market share and drive category expansion.

  • Lead the annual Brand Planning process, ensuring alignment across cross‑functional teams and the wider brand portfolio.

  • Build deep understanding of market dynamics, competitor activity and customer needs to inform strategy and drive competitive advantage.

Execution Excellence

  • Deliver tactical plans with excellence, ensuring flawless execution, timely delivery and adherence to A&P budgets.

  • Lead portfolio insights and performance assessments, implementing agreed management plans with precision.

  • Analyse campaign performance and brand activities to ensure continuous improvement and strong ROI.

Financial & Business Ownership

  • Take full ownership of the brand P&L, ensuring accurate monitoring, reporting and management of promotional investments.

  • Lead monthly budget tracking, spend gating and financial forecasting.

  • Provide accurate demand forecasts and lead the planning process for short‑ and long‑range business cycles.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Contracts, Sales, and field teams to gather local insights and translate them into winning brand plans.

  • Lead the innovation pipeline from concept development through to business case creation, approval, and market execution.

  • Ensure all campaigns, materials and strategies align with Abbott and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver high‑impact marketing plans.

  • Drive topline and bottom‑line performance, meeting revenue, margin and market share targets.

  • Manage brand budget and P&L.

  • Deliver demand forecasting and scenario planning.

  • Champion data‑driven decision‑making through insights and analytics.

  • Measure and report brand performance to senior leadership.

  • Project manage brand initiatives end‑to‑end.

  • Ensure full compliance with Abbott policies, procedures and industry requirements.

Who We’re Looking For

You are a strategic, commercially savvy marketer with strong executional discipline and the ability to work cross‑functionally at pace. You thrive in a role where you can make a meaningful impact, influence stakeholders and drive brand performance in a fast‑moving healthcare environment.

What You’ll Bring

  • Significant brand management or marketing experience, in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical nutrition

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.

  • Marketing qualifications (e.g., CIM) preferred.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience guiding projects or teams.

  • Strong analytical skills, able to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Solid financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&Ls.

  • Experience engaging with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) through media, CRM, sales enablement and advocacy programmes.
