IT Service Delivery Manager
Location: Maidenhead, with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office
Contract Type: 6 month FTC
Salary: £40 - £50k per annum, pro rata
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week, Mon – Fri
We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Service Delivery Manager to bring their expertise to our organisation. We’re looking for an experienced person to step in quickly and make an immediate impact on a 6‑month fixed-term contract, helping us keep critical services running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take the lead on how our IT services are delivered across the organisation, making sure colleagues get a reliable experience. You’ll be overseeing our service desk, managing complex incidents. You’ll need to keep everything running smoothly whilst always looking for ways to do things better. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external providers to resolve issues quickly whilst keeping people informed.
Alongside this, you’ll lead and develop a small team, setting clear expectations and creating a positive, supportive environment. You’ll collaborate with everyone to understand what people need, ensuring services evolve with demand and systems remain secure.
What you need to have
- Experience leading an IT Service Delivery
- Confident managing third-party suppliers
- Good understanding of service management frameworks (such as ITIL)
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, Active Directory and desktop environments
- A people-focused leadership style
- Excellent communication skills
