Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Resourcing Lead to lead end-to-end recruitment for key service areas, drive service improvement, and help us attract and retain brilliant talent. You’ll combine expert recruitment knowledge with a customer-first approach—creating a positive candidate journey and ensuring we hire the right people, in the right roles, at the right time
This is a key role within the Talent/HR&OD function, with scope to contribute to how we recruit and improve services. It’s an opportunity to lead change, innovate and build modern attraction strategies across multiple platforms within a diverse, supportive team environment focused on professional curiosity, development and shared success.

About The Role
- Lead and manage recruitment activity across permanent, fixed-term and temporary vacancies—supporting career development, redeployment and ‘grow our own’ approaches.
- Own the candidate journey end-to-end, delivering a proactive, inclusive and high-quality experience for internal and external candidates.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to hiring managers and stakeholders, including best practice, legislation and process.
- Use market insight, benchmarking and mapping to strengthen attraction for hard-to-fill and senior roles.
- Drive continuous improvement—identifying process efficiencies, value for money opportunities and innovative ways of working (including using ServiceNow).
- Work to agreed KPIs (e.g., time to hire and vacancy fill rates) and use data to spot trends, risks and barriers.
- Support assessment activity (including assessment days and interviews) and represent the organisation at careers and promotional events.
- Substantial recruitment or resourcing experience in a large/complex organisation, with credibility to influence at all levels.
- Strong stakeholder management, persuasion and negotiation skills, with a calm, solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent organisation and time management, able to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines.
- Confidence using data to tell the story—identifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve performance.
- Strong digital capability, including use of Microsoft applications and specialist systems (e.g., ServiceNow/TalentLink or similar).
- Experience supporting or delivering interviews and candidate assessment activity.
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) and/or relevant HR/recruitment qualification or equivalent experience.
