Our research plays a key role in tackling many global challenges, from reducing our carbon emissions to developing vaccines during a pandemic We are seeking a motivated and talented research assistant with an interest in brain ageing research, dementia or cognitive disorders to join the Cognitive Neurology team led by Prof Masud Husain to play a key role in Wellcome Trust funded research on apathy, anhedonia and depression across neurological disorders The post is full time and funded for two years The role will involve a range of activities including face-to-face interactions with patients; data management and analysis; assisting the Principal Investigators to ensure the smooth running of the research studies; and contribution to writing ethical approvals and research papers for publication You will hold a first degree in psychology, neuroscience or other relevant area of discipline with excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities and resources.
