The role

As a Reprographics & Post Room Assistant at Halfords, you’ll play a key role in delivering smooth, reliable support services that keep our Support Centre running efficiently. You thrive in a hands-on environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and a customer-first mindset come together; whether you’re preparing print jobs, managing post and parcel deliveries, or supporting colleagues with day-to-day operational needs.

You’re organised, dependable, and comfortable rolling up your sleeves - equally confident handling finishing equipment as you are coordinating mailroom logistics. With a natural ability to communicate and a flexible, can-do attitude, you take pride in delivering service that’s accurate, timely, and always professional.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure all Store orders are correctly picked and packed for delivery every day.
  • Be competent with all aspects of print finishing including, padding, drilling, guillotining, and laminating.
  • Be competent on both print machines to provide cover as and when required.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels for printed stationery and consulting Retail Operations where required.
  • Maintain working areas in a clean and tidy state, removal of rubbish & packaging.
  • Provide a receiving, storage, and delivery service for all parcel deliveries, communicating with Colleagues to ensure swift collections.
  • Ensure Post Room provision for receiving sorting and delivery of all mail is fulfilled.
  • Support the store post operation, filling, sealing and packing envopaks for delivery.
  • Provide a flexible approach for the supporting requirements of the Reprographics and Post Room departments.
  • Support the Colleague Services Team when required, both with day-to-day operations of the Support Centre and occasional events.

About you

  • Proven experience in delivering great customer service
  • Skilled in organising, picking, and packing tasks
  • Familiar with working in a fast-paced Support Centre environment
  • Strong understanding of reprographics and post room operations
  • Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Collaborative team player with experience working cross-functionally
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and other basic software tools
