YOUR ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Night Shift Manager to join our dynamic team in Redditch. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will take the lead in guiding and motivating your team, driving a positive culture, and ensuring that operation runs seamlessly and efficiently.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into Head of Operations your main areas of responsibility will be:
Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations.
Lead, inspire and manage teams to drive high performance, productivity, and quality.
Foster and maintain a proactive health & safety culture across the site.
Ensure service levels are consistently met or exceeded in line with customer expectations.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing operational enhancements.
Proactively manage risks and resolve operational challenges.
Maintain accurate shift records and ensure compliance with all processes.
Promote best practices in stock handling to minimise loss, damage, and inefficiency.
Conduct regular GEMBA walks and 5S audits to sustain operational excellence.
This is a Monday to Friday role, 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader with a strong background in managing teams, ideally within a 3PL environment. You will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure. With a passion for people’s development, you will have a proven ability to motivate, support, and grow your team, ensuring they reach their full potential. You will be confident leading change and driving continuous improvement, using your excellent organisational and multitasking skills to manage shifting priorities and operational demands. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems is essential, and you will be comfortable using MS Office such as Excel, to support your decision-making and reporting.
