An exciting opportunity has arisen at Sobell Leisure Centre for the appointment to the post of Recreation Attendant – Level 2.
You will be responsible for the provision of safe and enjoyable leisure activities for the general public.
Specific Responsibilities Will Include
Providing excellent customer service to all customers using the facilities.
Undertaking the safe supervision and operation of the leisure centres and swimming pools including leadership of staff, in compliance with training undertaken, procedures issued, nationally recognised standards and instructions from responsible officer.
The implementation of the emergency operating procedures, normal operating procedures and staff handbook as required and compliance with the procedures set out within these documents or any subsequent additions.
The implementation of first aid in accordance with the qualification and training received and the completion of accident and incident records and reports as required.
To ensure the Health and Safety of the public and other members of staff.
To ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and housekeeping of the facilities and to undertake associated tasks as directed or in accordance with the schedules.
A key part of the role will be supervision of staff teams, and all visitors to the facility including the swimming pool provision, therefore you must possess a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
