The Road Safety Team is seeking to recruit a part-time / term-time only Road Safety Project Officer on an annual contract basis, subject to external funding. The hours of work are 29 hours and 36 minutes per week. The post will be working 2 days at Llys Cadwyn office in Pontypridd, as well as working from home and site based.
Working under the direction of the Road Safety Manager and Senior Road Safety Officer the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of road safety education, training and publicity initiatives in schools, and to target groups of the public.
You must have previous experience of delivering education and training initiatives, excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work.
You must hold a full UK driving licence in order to transport equipment, including bicycles, throughout the County Borough, for which a pool vehicle will be available. You will be required to work in a range of environments including on-street, and at schools and colleges. The ability to use relevant ICT equipment is also essential.
This post is currently funded until 31st March 2027.
