The Role

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Receptionist to provide front-of-house support and administrative assistance across our busy Lakeside site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload, has excellent organisational skills and takes pride in creating a welcoming and professional environment for colleagues, clients and visitors.

Location

Lakeside, Warrington, WA1 1GG

Hours - 22.5 hours per week

Monday – 9 hours

Tuesday – 9 hours

Wednesday – 4.5 hours

Key Responsibilities

Reception & Administration

Welcome and log all visitors, contractors and employees arriving at Lakeside.

Answer, screen and transfer incoming telephone calls.

Manage the Reception and Information email inboxes.

Log incoming post and distribute accordingly.

Print, prepare and log outgoing private post, including GP letters.

Upload GP and Consultant reports for operational teams.

Update the Warrington site calendar with meetings, appointments and cancellations.

Facilities & Office Management

Book meeting rooms and manage room availability at Lakeside.

Ensure the boardroom and meeting rooms are kept clean, tidy and presentation-ready.

Arrange hotel bookings and travel requirements for colleagues.

Order buffet lunches and refreshments for meetings and events.

Order stationery, cleaning products and office consumables including tea, coffee and water.

Lock up the building when required, ensuring windows and doors are secured, lights are switched off and offices are clear.

Health & Safety & Compliance

Complete and record fridge temperature checks.

Carry out clinic room checks.

Undertake fire alarm and emergency lighting checks in line with procedures.

Monitor vaccination stock levels and accurately record incoming and outgoing stock.

Maintain petty cash records, ensuring purchases are logged and reconciled.

What We're Looking For

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.

Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.

Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

A proactive and flexible approach to work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

Previous experience in a reception, administration or customer service role is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
