This position holder would inspect components in accordance with relevant technical documentation and acceptance standards. Inspect goods “as received”, “work in progress” and at final acceptance activities.


This role is based at Aberdeen.


Tasks

  • Ensure all inspection equipment is well maintained, within the stated calibration period, checked prior to use and stored correctly when not in use.

  • Immediately reporting any unsafe or potentially unsafe acts or conditions to your Supervisor or any member of the Management Team.

  • Ensure adequate stock of consumables including items used for packaging and transportation of customer goods.

  • Assist the supervisor with production planning when required.

  • Ensure that all relevant equipment is well maintained.


Requirements

  • A minimum of standard 3 grades (or equivalent) at level 3 or above, one of which must be a technical subject.

  • QHSE Awareness

  • City and guilds or other reputable training qualification in Technical Design and NDT

  • Manual handling preferred but not essential.
