As a result of our exponential growth and transformation, we are seeking an ambitious Process Engineer with a strong passion for overseeing innovative projects. As Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our state-of-the-art New Drug Product (NDP) facility, currently under construction at our Wrexham site – the largest Capital investment in Ipsen’s history. This exciting project will be your immediate focus, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of our operations. Longer term, we are investing heavily in various projects over the next 10 years, ensuring continuous innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical appraisals, lead design reviews, and manage project work packages.
- Support and execute commissioning, qualification activities, and manage safe equipment operations.
- Provide technical leadership in process engineering.
- Ensure compliance with standards, practices, and regulatory requirements e.g. GMP.
- Identify and promote innovative solutions, process improvements, and develop Quality Risk Assessments.
- Collaborate with the project engineering team, engage site personnel, and coordinate with vendors.
- Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
- Experience with Capital Projects
- Experience in a similar role from the pharmaceutical industry or other highly regulated industry
- Experience with C&Q (commissioning and qualification)
- Energised by getting stuck in, being proactive and collaborating
