IF YOU ARE ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT...

  • Design and develop packaging solutions for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, handling needs and industry regulations and standards.
  • Design and develop packaging solutions for incoming supplied products, ensuring compliance with requirements, handling needs and industry regulations and standards.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and material selection processes to identify optimal packaging materials that meet performance and cost targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to validate packaging designs through testing and prototyping.
  • Lead projects to improve packaging efficiency and sustainability, analysing life cycle impacts and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Lead projects to improve internal material handling systems in storage and part movement, analysing cycle time impacts and proposing innovative and cost effective solutions.
  • Oversee the transition of packaging projects from concept through to production, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the packaging processes to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during the implementation of packaging machinery and equipment

  • Engineering Background
  • Automotive Background
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Drive and support the requirements to uphold accreditation's including IATF16949 and ISO14001.
  • Maintain effective relationships with other functions.
  • Present a professional image when communicating internally and externally.
  • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Provide direction and management support for direct reports to drive performance.
