The children, staff and Governors of Barley Mow Primary School are looking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic and highly organised school Senior Administration Officer to join our team.

The successful candidate will become part of our inclusive family where all children are nurtured to become happy, confident and resilient learners.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Head Teacher to:

  • Act as front of house to warmly welcome visitors, parents/ carers and pupils into school, which includes answering telephone calls.
  • Be self-motivated, organised, highly efficient and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Carry out photocopying, filing and other general administrative tasks.
  • Have administration/clerical experience and demonstrate good IT skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate with a range of people.
  • The ideal candidate will be used to working in a school office environment.
