Job Description: Creative Classroom Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Creative Classroom Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. In this role, you will support students in their academic and personal growth, fostering a positive and empowering learning environment.

The Role

• As a Creative Classroom Assistant, you will be based in Gateshead and be present during all curriculum lessons in the classroom.
• You will provide support to small groups of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
• You will also offer one-to-one assistance to students who require personalised learning approaches.
• We value collaboration and teamwork, and as a Creative Classroom Assistant, you will work closely with students, staff, and parents to create an inclusive and cooperative learning environment.
• This is a full-time position, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in students' lives.
  
  

Requirements

• To be successful in this role, you must be eligible to work in the UK.
• It is essential to have a current enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or be willing to obtain one.
• We are looking for someone with a friendly, approachable, and patient attitude, serving as a positive role model for our students.
• Resilience and adaptability are key qualities required, as you will encounter changing situations in this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
