Fitch Ratings is currently seeking an Operations Associate or Senior Operations Associate based out of our Manchester office.
About The Team
The Ratings Business Analytics team provides high-quality, in-depth strategic analysis to drive better outcomes for Fitch Ratings. The team works closely with the Ratings Operations heads on business transformation initiatives, including developing business cases, evaluating cost/benefits for new initiatives, and reviewing and making recommendations on process re-engineering.

Fitch Ratings is currently seeking an Operations Associate or Senior Operations Associate based out of our Manchester office.
About The Team
The Ratings Business Analytics team provides high-quality, in-depth strategic analysis to drive better outcomes for Fitch Ratings. The team works closely with the Ratings Operations heads on business transformation initiatives, including developing business cases, evaluating cost/benefits for new initiatives, and reviewing and making recommendations on process re-engineering.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Support and eventually own aspects of monthly and quarterly reporting for senior management (operational metrics, productivity reporting, etc.)
- Compile and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to build clear insights on Fitch’s operations and business performance.
- Assist with automation and efficiency in producing regular reporting / analysis.
- Assist with visualizing data in Business Intelligence applications such as QlikView & Power BI
- Support the development of presentations that communicate Fitch’s business and / or operational strategies, objectives and plans to senior management and executive audiences.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work with large datasets to mine and analyze varying types of data to draw out appropriate insights and present them coherently to senior internal stakeholders using various reporting tools.
- Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize different assignments.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative nature, a team player who works effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Basic knowledge or experience with SQL, Alteryx and Power BI
- Prior Credit Ratings experience or knowledge
