Due to a contract win, we are currently looking for an experienced Fishing Operations Coordinator/Engineer to join our busy onshore Oiltools Fishing team onshore. This role will be based in our Blackburn office in Aberdeen.
The role is to bring strong technical knowledge across all Fishing and Milling product and services to support the UK infrastructure, across sales and operations. An aptitude in all other Archer Oiltools products and services will be required. Primarily supporting the Technical Manager in the role of project planning and preparation, with a requirement to support the UK sales team where required with technical backup to support technical proposals for project award. The Operations co-ordinator will be involved in the process from quotation to execution offshore.

Key Responsibilities
- On-Duty technical support for offshore / Customer operations
- Work closely with Sales and Supply Chain to ensure costing and inventory are all available for planned operations
- Prepare equipment requests, procedures, and calculations for offshore operations
- Project Lead for SYNERGI Investigations
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to clients to develop new business opportunities.
- While no specific educational background is required, formal classroom or online training related to Fishing & Milling operations is preferred. A college or university degree could be advantageous.
- Candidates should have a strong technical background covering various disciplines of downhole tools and operations relating to fishing and milling. Previous experience within a service company environment/role is preferred.
- Proven background in a similar role preparing detailed equipment request, procedures, and calculations for job planning/preparation
- Proven background in downhole tools and technology
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
