Troubleshoot hardware/software issues, support users both on-site and remotely, manage and diagnose networks, and administer MS 365 technologies. Our client is looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to support the businesses growth. For this role you will require exceptional technical support abilities, be customer focused, work well in a tight-nit team and will have an eagerness for learning new technical skills and disciplines.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
Our client is looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to support the businesses growth. For this role you will require exceptional technical support abilities, be customer focused, work well in a tight-nit team and will have an eagerness for learning new technical skills and disciplines.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Technical diagnostics. Resolving both software, and hardware issues efficiently and to a great standard.
- Microsoft 365 diagnostics and administration. Supporting MS Office, Exchange, OneDrive and keeping to security best practices.
- Windows Server 2016 – 2022 Support including Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Virtualisation technology including VMWare and Hyper-V.
- Monitoring, administration and support of network technologies including firewalls, routers and switches, VLANs and VPNs.
- Supporting users via remote desktop. RDP, Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- CompTIA A+ / Network+ qualifications or equivalent experience.
- MS MCP/MCSA in relevant technologies.
- ITIL Foundation Certificate.
- MS Azure Fundamentals.
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certifications.
- Opportunities for progression into 3rd Line Support role, project-based roles or even positions of leadership.
- Exposure to a broad range of exciting technologies within a dynamic environment.
- Support in obtaining IT certifications that align with business needs and your personal career goals.
